Our founder, Debra Miller, MS, OTR, DT, has more than 30 years of  experience working with infants and young children.  

 

With a vast commitment to learning, Deb started Accord in 2009 to help therapists hone there skills to become outstanding therapists within Indiana First Steps.  She is eager to mentor and support staff and families drawing from her background in early childhood  education, occupational therapy, and Anat Baniel Method Neuromovement.

We strive to provide early intervention your family can depend on. We aim to:

  • Be helpful, kind and respctful
  • Help families meet the outcomes on their Individual Family Service Plan or IFSP for short
  • Promote learning and the attainment of developmental milestones
  • Respond to questions and  inquiries in a timely manner
  • Collaborate with others on the IFSP Team and other agencies and organizations as needed

Our Locations

Accord's provides services in south-central Indiana which includes Bartholomew, Jackson and Johnson Counties.  If you are seeking a dynamic team of therapists to join you on your First Steps journey, look no further!  We are accepting referrals. We offer homebased in-person visits along with  tele-therapy.  We use Doxy.me for our secure virtual therapy sessions.  These can be easily accessed from any computer or mobile device with internet access.

Our staff of 30+ highly trained and effective therapists are eager to partner with families to help them help their children. Through the use of modeling and coaching during daily routines, we are making a difference.  We not only  strive to provide excellent interventions to children and their families, but we continuously expand our knowledge base and challenge ourselves to find new and inovative approaches to help change the trajectory of progress in those we serve.  The first three years of childhood are a time of great growth and development.  Early intervention works and we would love to work along with you to capitalize on this growth potential.
